The Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (acaom), the sole commission recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for the accreditation of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Accreditation means that a college has submitted itself to the scrutiny of its peers and has met national standards in management, curriculum, financial viability and integrity.
In February 2007 acaom re-accredited the school for 5 years.
