Greetings ASAOM Students & Faculty!
Greetings ASAOM Students & Faculty. There have been a couple things that have occurred recently at ASAOM that we wanted to share with you.
- We recently signed a Cooperation Agreement between Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine ASAOM . The Agreement establishes cooperation between the schools for the exchange of students and faculty and establishing protocols for research between the two universities. Shaanxi University is a multidisciplinary school that offers many types of degree programs. Currently they have over 17,000 students. It is very fortuitous that we have connected with this school and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.
- We have actively been pursuing relationships with the School of Public Health, Nursing School and Medical School at the University of Arizona. We have organized events at the School of Public Health for our students to provide Tuina to their staff and faculty as a holiday treat and to introduce them to the wonders of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The administration and I also want to take this opportunity to wish all of you a festive holiday season and hope you are each enjoying a little break from the activities of school. We look forward to seeing you in the new year. This will also be the Chinese Year of the Monkey, which is celebrated in early February. See you all in January 2016!
